From 2007-2010 I held a postdoc fellowship in the condensed-matter-theory group at Caltech. My postdoc appointment gave me the chance to branch out into new research areas, interact with many wonderful collaborators, and travel to places around the world that I hadn't been to before. It was an awesome experience in many ways.
